Mural at Lake of Stars Festival, Malawi

In September I was invited to the Lake of Stars festival in Mangochi, Southern Malawi to paint a large mural in the centre of the festival site. Lake of Stars is an international music festival attracting acts and festival goers from around the planet, described by Q magazine as "Simply the finest festival in the world". The image grew from one initial circle and I painted it whilst sporadically hallucinating due to malaria. The piece of work exceeds twenty metres in length and is acrylic on plywood.
